Getting Started

From sign-up to your first live detection in five minutes. No code required.

1

Create Your Workspace

Sign up with your email or SSO provider. You'll be prompted to create a workspace — this is your team's home on ChainAlert. Every detection, alert, and integration lives inside your workspace. You can invite teammates later.

2

Pick a Detection Template

Browse the detection catalog and choose what you want to monitor. Each template is pre-configured for a specific threat or event pattern — you just provide the contract address and any thresholds.

catalog — popular templates
Large TransferAlert on whale-sized token movements
Fund DrainageDetect rapid balance drops
Ownership TransferWatch for admin key changes
Proxy UpgradeCatch unexpected contract upgrades
3

Configure Your Detection

Provide the inputs your detection needs — typically a contract address and a threshold value. Choose the chain you want to monitor (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, or Polygon) and set a severity level. ChainAlert automatically resolves the contract's ABI if it's verified on-chain.

4

Connect a Notification Channel

Tell ChainAlert where to send alerts. Connect your Slack workspace with one click, add an email address, or configure a webhook to pipe alerts into PagerDuty, Telegram, or your own systems. You can add multiple channels and route different detections to different teams.

5

Activate and Monitor

Hit activate. ChainAlert starts monitoring immediately — there's no deploy step or waiting period. Your detection appears on the dashboard where you can track matched events, view alert history, and adjust thresholds at any time.
